Fr. will be blessing our Blessed Mother statue, located in the columbarium, on Sat., Oct. 17 after the 5 pm Mass.

 Today’s Gospel presents to us a lesson, a very necessary one, for all of us is an inspiration to see Jesus’s mighty power in His public life. It is the necessity of perseverance in our prayers of petition. Prayer is an essential part of our Christian life, and the essential part of prayer is that of adoration and thanksgiving, but prayer of petition has a big part in our daily prayers. We have so many spiritual and temporal needs,

The Lord uses parables to explain and teach us the mysteries of the Kingdom among us and who are the ones who listen to it. In Matthew’s Gospel with the parable of the sower, the significance key of understanding is bearing fruit to the final judgment as evidence that he or she is Jesus’ disciple.

“A sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seed fell on the path, and birds came and ate it up.

The month of May is devoted to our Blessed Mother.

Beginning next Thursday, April 2, our doors will be open for Adoration of the Eucharist from 11-2 pm. Please remember no more than 10 people may be in the sanctuary and please maintain social distancing.

St. Francis will be temporarily cancelling all Masses until further notice. We will still have Reconciliation on Saturday from 4:30-5pm.

Hours are 11 am – 7 pm. Enjoy a plate of spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert and drink for $7!
